The Design Partnership partnered with ARTSCAPE to prepare a Place Activation Strategy for Maitland LGA. The strategy identified opportunities for quick wins - placemaking projects that could quickly activate spaces throughout the Maitland LGA to bring people back to the city.
The strategy also identified longer-term projects that could evolve following the success of quick-win projects.
Over the 8 years since the strategies adoption, many projects have been undertaken in the LGA which has established Maitland as a leader in the place activation arena.
