The Entrance Tourism and Economic Strategy

The Entrance Tourism and Economic Strategy was commissioned as a result of the economic decline of the township. The proposal recognised two things. First, that the town needed an iconic attraction – a recognisable element that people would connect with The Entrance. Second, that the town needed to link both sides of the channel for pedestrians. The strategy recommended an iconic sculptural pedestrian bridge that would connect the existing attractions together. This concept was integrated into The Entrance Masterplan.
